"Stitch In Time" :: Lecture Series
Starting this fall, The Valdosta Museum will be hosting a lecture series taught by our textile expert, Amy Brown.
We anticipate that the first of the series of classes will be on how to care and properly preserve your family's textile treasures. Heirlooms such as wedding dresses, top hats, and quilts will be discussed. Future classes in the series will
include lace making, quilting, pine straw basket weaving and embroidery.
We will be posting more details as we come closer to the class dates.
