Rb and Rc Crisis Does Not Exist.

Based on nearly 4 million hadronic events recorded by ALEPH in 1992-95, in hep-ex/9609005 dated 10 Sep 1996, CERN has announced a measurement of Rb: Rb = 0.2158 +/- 0.0009 stat +/- 0.0011 syst - 0.019(Rc - 0.171). In their analysis of Rb and New Physics, Bamert, Burgess, Cline, London, and Nardi state that the Standard Model value of Rb is 0.2156 and that "If the Rb discrepancy can be resolved ... one then obtains an acceptable fit to the data." Since the 10 Sep 96 CERN value of Rb of 0.2158 is consistent with the Standard Model value of 0.2156, and since that CERN value supersedes the old experimental value described by Bamert et. al. of 0.2219, The Rb discrepancy has been resolved and there is an acceptable fit to the data, including Rc data.
Therefore, my 1995 paper on the Rb and Rc Crises, which was written prior to the new experimental results, should be regarded as superseded by this WWW page. In particular, the Rb and Rc data no longer distinguish between the theoretical predictions of my D4-D5-E6 model and the Standard Model with a higher T-quark mass. However, I still think that my T-quark and ALPHA-s values are correct, as I think that the 1996 electroweak precision data, as whole, can be interpreted as being consistent with the D4-D5-E6 model.
